Kenton Tennal is the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Urbandale High School (State Qualifiers 2019). His goal of his camps is to provide each camper with a positive, fun-filled learning experience. The camp is designed to provide personal attention to help young athletes improve their basketball fundamentals. You will also have the opportunity to develop team skills each day. At his camps they emphasize the importance of individual skills to all campers. They try to assist each camper in developing their overall game for the week of camp, and give them the groundwork to improve their game throughout the summer. The campers drill and compete within their age groups in various skill competitions such as dribbling, passing, shooting and defense. Beyond individual skill development, we emphasize the importance of team play to all campers. These camps set the framework for successful future athletes. They look forward to helping each camper reach their short-term, and long term goals, in a fun and positive environment.
