The City of Grimes and Polk County are hosting a rain barrel workshop on June 7th at 6 pm at the Public Works Building. This is free workshop is available for 20 Grimes residents. Registration is required. Click here to signup.

Rain barrels are a simple and cost-effective way to recycle stormwater generated from your house and put it to good use by watering plants, washing exterior fixtures, and more. Rain barrels lower your water bill, reduce erosion and polluted stormwater, and make your household water more sustainable.
