Citywide Garage Sale - May 5th & 6th
Clean out the garage, basement, or kids' toys and get ready for the Citywide Garage Sale on May 5th and 6th. Grimes residents are invited to participate and host a garage sale on those dates. Individuals set their own garage sale hours. The City will put out a map on Facebook of participating homes closer to the event. Please register here if you'd like to be included in the map.
Spring Cleanup - May 8th or 9th
If you have items left over from the garage sale, or other items you need to get rid of, set them out on your curb for the Spring Cleanup on your regular trash collection day of May 8th or 9th. Metro Waste Authority will pick up most items except:
- Appliances
- Hazardous waste
- Tires
- TVs
