2010 Grimes Rec Flag Football League  (Going into Grades 3-6)

Registration starts July 1, 2010 online! *Deadline is August 11, 2010 at 5pm.

Dates: Season runs Monday, August 23 - Sunday, October 10, 2010. Practices can start week of August 23.  Games start September 12. *Deadline is 2 weeks prior to the first practice. Time: Games on Sunday afternoons starting at 3pm Practices are during the week (up to the coach/team) Who: Two Divisions Include: Grades 3/4 & Grades 5/6 Cost: $30 per player *If you need a reversible jersey, cost is additional $10 for the jersey. Location: Games held at Lions Park Practices- Location to be determined by the coach during the week. Registration: Stop in to the Grimes Community Complex (410 SE Main St.) OR Mail to 410 SE Main St. in Grimes 50111 Instructor: Parent Volunteers Contact: Brett Barber Grimes Parks and Recreation Director bbarber@ci.grimes.ia.us or 515-986-2143 Description: This program allows players to play in a recreational atmosphere supervised by parent volunteers.  Teams practice during the week and then play games on Sunday later afternoons.  Players are assigned to a team randomly.  Coaches meetings will be conducted after the deadline.  The Director will contact the volunteer coaches that expressed they could help out during registration.
