Description: The DCGRC has been created for several reasons:
-Introduce young children to the sport of running
-Foster a sense of joy in becoming healthy and fit
-Develop confidence and pride
-Provide an opportunity to be part of a team in which all members participate
-Serve as a developmental program for the DCG Cross Country and Track Teams

Coach Pries will cater training to individual needs, though training will be designed for all participants to increase endurance and speed.

Participants and parents will be told of opportunities to participate in fall road races, as well as youth cross country meets in the area.  If possible, arrangements will be made to meet together at such events.

Kids would need to wear appropriate running clothing, bring a water bottle, and have a good pair of athletic shoes.
