Holiday Break Adventures- Trip to Swimming at AmericInn

Registration starts Oct. 1 at 7pm ONLINE

Who: For Kids in Grades 2 and Up Where: Meet at Swimming Pool at AmericInn Hotel in Grimes Dates: Monday, December 28 Time: 9am - 11am Cost: $10 per child (Limit of 30 kids.) Staff: Grimes Rec Staff Contact: Brett Barber Grimes Parks and Recreation Director bbarber@ci.grimes.ia.us or 515-986-2143 Description: Have fun with your friends while swimming at the AmericInn.  Make sure to bring a towel, swimsuit, and change of clothes.  Parents drop their kids off at at 9am at the AmericInn Hotel in Grimes and then pick them up at 11:00am when the program ends.  Trained Grimes Rec Staff will be on hand to supervise the kids.

 

Holiday Break Adventures- Trip to Climb Iowa in Grimes

Who: For Grades K & Up Where: Climb Iowa in Grimes Date: Monday, December 28 Time: Drop Off at the GCC at 12:45pm Pick up Child at GCC at 3:15pm Cost: $15 per child (Min. 15/Max of 60 kids.) Registration: Click here to register online or stop in to the Grimes Community Complex (410 SE Main St.) with payment. MUST FILL OUT CLIMB IOWA WAIVER IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN THERE IN THE PAST YEAR. Who: For Kids Grades K & Up Where: Sleepy Hollow Sports Park in Pleasant Hill Dates: Tuesday, December 29 Time: Drop Off at the GCC at 9:15am Pick up Child at GCC at 1:30pm Cost: $25 per child (Limit of 60 kids.) Registration: Click here to register online or stop in to the Grimes Community Complex (410 SE Main St.) with payment. MUST ALSO SIGN A SLEEPY HOLLOW SPORTS PARK WAIVER PRIOR TO ATTENDING THIS TRIP. This trip includes snowtubing and fun on the hills.  Parents must sign the Sleepy Hollow Sports Park waiver prior to going.  Should also bring money for lunch OR bring your own sack lunch.  Please have kids dressed warmly- gloves, hats, boots.

 

Holiday Break Adventures- Trip to Warrior Lanes Bowling in Waukee

Who: For Kids Grades K & Up Where: Warrior Lanes Bowling in Waukee Dates: Wednesday, December 30 Time: Drop Off at the GCC at 9:30am Pick up Child at GCC at Noon Cost: $12 per child (Limit of 60 kids.) Holiday Break Adventures- Ramada Northwest's Indoor Waterpark

Who: For Kids Grades K & Up Where: Ramada Northwest Hotel in Urbandale Dates: Wednesday, December 30 Time: Drop Off at the GCC at 12:45pm Pick up Child at GCC at 3:30pm Cost: $15 per child (Limit of 60 kids.) This trip includes access to the area's newest indoor waterpark.  Has 2 high speed waterslides, a pirate ship theme, lap pool, and hot tub.  Kids can bring extra money for concessions and their arcade games.
