Bricks for Kidz Program

For the Winter Session 2: Due to the fire at the GCC, this class will be held at the Grimes Public Library at the corner of Hwy 44 and North James Street by the Water Tower.  Thanks for your patience

Dates:

4-week Sessions

Fall Session 1:  Mondays, October CLOSED
Fall Session 2:  Mondays, November CLOSED
Winter Session 1: Mondays, January 23 - February 13, 2012 CLOSED

Winter Session 2: Mondays, February 27 - March 26, 2012
*Skip March 19 due to Spring Break

Spring Session 1: Mondays, April 2 - April 23, 2012

Minimum of 6 and Maximum of 20 per class.

Time:

4:00pm - 5:00pm

Who: Ages 5 - 11
Cost: $40 per child per session
Location: Grimes Community Complex Meeting Room #106

Enroll in a class near the top right corner. Refer a friend; you will receive a $5.00 discount upon their enrollment and payment. Limited to a total of $10 discount per family, send the name of your friend to iwyman@bricks4kidz.com

Description:

Our one hour classes explore architecture, engineering and technology concepts using LEGO bricks. Students participate in 4 week sessions focused on exciting themes like Gadgets & Gizmos, Natural Disasters, Remote Control Mania, and Laws of Motion. Classes follow the Bricks 4 Kidz motto: We Learn, We Build, We Play with... LEGO Bricks.

We Learn- Teachers provide a 15-20 minute themed lesson
We Build- Students build the model of the week with simple step by step instructions
We Play- Students explore their own creativity through free play time
