Who: Ages PreK and Up (Kids split into groups by age during camp) Dates: Session 1: Monday, June 21 - Friday, June 25, 2010 Session 2: Monday, July 19 - Friday, July 23, 2010 *More Sessions could open if these fill up quickly. Time: 7:30am - 5:30pm Cost: $125 per child per week ($110 per additional child) *Kids must register for entire week.  To Register: Click here to register online or stop in to the Grimes Community Complex (410 SE Main St.) with payment or mail to City Hall at 101 NE Harvey St. in Grimes. Typical Schedule: 7:30-8:30am: Check-In Time in the Cafeteria 8:30am - 10:00am: Small Group Activity 10-11:30am: Field Trip or Big Group Activity 11:30am - 12:00pm - Sack Lunch and Drink (Kids must bring their own.) 12:00pm - 1:00pm - Supervised Free Time 1:00pm - 3:00pm- Field Trip, Swimming, or Big Group Activity 3:00pm - 4:30pm- Snack provided by Grimes P & R, Small Group Activity 4:30-5:30pm: Check-Out Time in the Cafeteria Description: NEW!  Summer Fundaze Day Camp provides children with the opportunity to interact with peers in a safe and nurturing environment.  Trained Grimes Parks and Rec Staff will be on hand to supervise activities such as arts/crafts, tournaments, movies, PE games, team building games, and more throughout the day.  We will take the kids on one field trip per week and one swimming trip per week.  Most activities will be at the Grimes Community Complex in the various remodeled rooms, gym, and batting cage, as well as outside at the GCC Park and Grimes Sports Complex.  Transportation and drivers are provided by the DCG School system.
