March 2, 2018: 
The City of Grimes is currently in the process of obtaining easements for the additional project areas as indicated in the letter dated November 28, 2017.

October 24th, 2017:
The Grimes City Council held a workshop discussing this project. Fox Engineering gave a presentation outlining the project, including a summary of the public survey results. To view the slideshow presented, CLICK HERE.


The City of Grimes is currently in the preliminary design phase of the Little Beaver and Prairie Creek Channel Restoration project.  Due to the nature of the project work to be completed, construction may impact property owners along the stream channel. Therefore, the City of Grimes will be hosting a public meeting with property owners to provide information and to answer questions about the proposed project. The public meeting is scheduled for 5:30 PM on October 17th in the Banquet Hall of the Grimes Community Complex located at 410 SE Main Street Grimes, IA 50111.
